# ORE Trader

The **ORE Trader** is a barter NPC that lets you convert your basic refining ores **Oridecon** and **Elunium** into higher-grade enhancement materials. Use these upgraded ores when refining high-level gear that requires **Enriched** or **HD** materials for better success rates and safe refining.

Bring your ores plus the required Zeny, and trade up.

> 💡 **Why upgrade?** **Enriched** ores give a higher refine success chance, while **HD** ores let you refine safely at high levels — if the refine fails, your gear drops by one level instead of breaking. Essential for pushing +10 and beyond.
